Job DescriptionAs a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral part of the cardiovascular operating room team. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room, as well as assisting the surgical team during procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up equipment and sterilizing instruments.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor and maintain the operating room environment, including temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
