Job Title: Google Cloud Tech Lead

Lorven Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Tech Lead to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking resources.
  • Design and implement data engineering solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using GCP tools to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources using Stackdriver (Google Cloud Operations Suite) to ensure optimal performance and cost.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Workflows, IAM, and others.
  • Good understanding of cloud-native solutions and architecture.
  • Experience with data engineering transformation tools, including Cloud Composer (based on Apache Airflow), Dataflow, and Cloud Run.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD, Git flows, Attunity, and AutoSys.
  • Good experience in data modeling and ETL processes, including the ability to design robust data models and develop efficient ETL processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly resolve issues that arise during production.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with global teams, including clear documentation practices and the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
