Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for our Pharmacist team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  2. Assist Pharmacists with tasks such as filling containers, preparing and affixing labels, and prepackaging pharmaceuticals.
  3. Perform pharmacy computer functions as required.
  4. Prepare and label IVs, hyperalimentation solutions, chemotherapy agents, and other pharmaceutical products.
  5. Respond to patient admission, transfer, discharge, and discontinued medication notices, and process physician orders according to established procedure.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Michigan Limited or Full Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Computer experience.
  • Previous pharmacy experience in oncology or courses in pharmacy curriculum.
  • PTCB certification.
