Job Summary
The MRI Department is looking for a dedicated professional to perform MRI examinations on patients across various age groups. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assess patients prior to MRI procedures.
  • Review patient documentation to identify any contraindications for MRI exams.
  • Conduct MRI procedures according to established protocols and perform quality assurance checks.
  • Educate patients about MRI procedures and ensure their comfort.
  • Assist in scheduling and managing patient flow.
  • Administer contrast agents as necessary for MRI exams.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Support the training of new staff and radiology students.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by the ARRT in good standing.
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and assisting patients of varying weights.
  • Frequent handling of equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
