Job Summary
The MRI Department is looking for a dedicated professional to perform MRI examinations on patients across various age groups. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and confirming patient safety screenings.
- Informing patients about MRI processes while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Maintaining MRI equipment and promptly reporting any issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assess patients prior to MRI procedures.
- Review patient documentation to identify any contraindications for MRI exams.
- Conduct MRI procedures according to established protocols and perform quality assurance checks.
- Educate patients about MRI procedures and ensure their comfort.
- Assist in scheduling and managing patient flow.
- Administer contrast agents as necessary for MRI exams.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Support the training of new staff and radiology students.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by the ARRT in good standing.
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and assisting patients of varying weights.
- Frequent handling of equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
