We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist, Reagents to join our team at Q2 Solutions, IQVIA's laboratory business in Durham, NC.

The Senior Scientist, Reagents will serve as a technical expert for laboratory operations, identifying and implementing continuous process improvement initiatives. Specifically, this role will focus on critical reagents for assays, including bridging, usage, function, and inventory for cell-based assays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document analytical procedures with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in accordance with current SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead routine quality investigations and assign and complete CAPAs.
  • Oversee the technology transfer of methods from other groups within our organization.
  • Identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives for laboratory operations.
  • Produce analytical documentation across all service areas in the business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require specific degrees).
  • Typically requires >5 years' experience in a relevant discipline.
  • 4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory.
  • Sound knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in the job area.
  • Knowledgeable across all assays within the scope of assigned technical area/dept.
  • Working knowledge of applicable governing regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable lab techniques.
  • Proficiency with laboratory calculations regarding batches and specimens.
