Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at the Blue Square Cafe. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a service culture that ensures superior internal and external guest service.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Complete assigned side work and checklist tasks.
  • Ring in guests in a timely manner and accurately according to tender.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow company policies related to revenue management, banking, and closing procedures.
  • Utilize Point Of Sale InfoGenesis systems.
  • Maintain par levels for inventory ordering and restocking.
  • Stay knowledgeable about promotions and events.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle situations with intoxicated guests professionally.
  • Must be able to complete TIPS training and obtain a Basset Card.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
