Description

Centurion Managed Care is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist

for a full-time position at a correctional facility in Indiana.

The Behavioral Health Specialist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to support patients in enhancing their skill sets and reinforcing social, adaptive, and independent living skills.

Responsibilities

  • Use recreational and social activities to foster skill building and problem solving
  • Accomplish treatment objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related social sciences field
  • Specific training in recreational therapy preferred
  • National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) preferred
  • Correctional environment experience preferred
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
