Giant Eagle is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Stocking Team Lead to join our Micro Fulfillment Center team. As a key player in our fulfillment operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of online orders for our Curbside Express guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and evaluate training provided to Team Members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Utilize available tools to help reduce and eliminate shrink, ensuring that our inventory levels remain accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist the team in fulfilling orders, delivering orders ready for pickup, and contacting customers regarding any potential order or out-of-stock issues.
- Work closely with the team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and that our guests receive the best possible service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our operations run smoothly and that our guests receive the best possible experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a grocery store or fulfillment center environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve their goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
