Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team at PFG Customized Distribution. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food and food-related products to our customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Function as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.
  • Safety and Compliance: Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
  • Delivery and Unloading: Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedules, unload products from the trailer, and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Complete all required paperwork associated with freight, including count checks and customer invoices, and maintain accurate records of hours of service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: 0-6 months commercial driving experience
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL-A, clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years, and ability to pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Physical Demands: Ability to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
