Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to join our team at the Topeka Correctional Facility. As a CCHT, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring dialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and Monitor Dialysis Treatments: You will be responsible for performing and monitoring dialysis treatments, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
  • Work with the Healthcare Team: You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a nationally recognized CCHT certification. You must also have at least one year of recent clinical dialysis experience.
  • Skills and Competencies: You must have strong technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment

This role exists in a hospital or medical unit of a post-acute or correctional facility. You may be exposed to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens. You will be required to work a full schedule, which may range from five to fifteen hours per day, based on the unit requirements.
