Role Summary:

The Pediatric Triage Nurse plays a crucial role in evaluating the health status of young patients and establishing the priority of their medical needs. This position involves close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure prompt and effective care for children.

Primary Duties:

  • Perform initial evaluations of pediatric patients to determine the immediacy of care required.
  • Gather and document essential patient data, including medical history and presenting symptoms.
  • Assess and record vital statistics such as height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature.
  • Establish triage priorities based on clinical assessments.
  • Relay patient conditions and requirements to physicians and the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:
