As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for children. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and assisting students during various daily activities, particularly during transitions such as meals, outdoor play, and rest periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support student behavior throughout daily routines.
  • Provide direct assistance to students as needed, ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Adapt to the unique needs of children, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Ideal Candidate: The successful applicant will have a background in working with children, particularly in educational settings. Experience with IEPs is highly valued, and a willingness to accommodate diverse learning needs is essential.

Compensation: The salary for this position starts at $18.09, based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children; prior paraprofessional experience is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check is required.
