About the Role

The State of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health care to patients. Your duties will include diagnosing mental health disorders, prescribing medication, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
  • Prescribe and administer medication
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide crisis intervention and management
  • Conduct forensic evaluations and court commitment hearings
Requirements
  • Board-Certified General Psychiatry MD/DO
  • Completion of an accredited residency training program in Psychiatry
  • Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the state of Indiana
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions
