Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position as a Limited-Term Lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art History and Art Appreciation courses, with the possibility of teaching on multiple campuses and/or online.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to five Art History and/or Art Appreciation courses per semester
  • Hold regular office hours to meet with students
  • Attend department meetings to stay informed about departmental initiatives and policies
Requirements
  • M.A. in Art or equivalent experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience teaching college-level courses, credentials in digitally created art, and those who have experience in teaching online courses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment
  • Experience with curriculum development and course design
