Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is seeking a motivated student to assist in the Visual Arts department on the Dahlonega campus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the professor in maintaining the ceramics lab, including loading kilns, grinding and kiln washing shelves, pugging clay, mixing glazes, and inventory management.
  • Monitor the studio outside classes and provide support to students as needed.
  • Enforce safety and security protocols in the lab and assist students as required.

Requirements

  • Previous knowledge of ceramic processes is essential.
  • Ability to lift 75lbs and willingness to perform cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
