Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Program Coordinator to join our team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our neuroscience nursing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with nursing units and educators to improve performance and patient outcomes
  • Serve as a liaison for prehospital personnel and coordinate meetings to discuss patient care
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure organizational compliance
  • Coordinate community outreach activities and collaborate with other disciplines to develop outreach efforts
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with a bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum three years of experience in nursing required
  • Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred nursing experience in neuroscience, emergency department, or quality
  • Stroke Certification (Examples include: ASC, NVRN, SCRN, CNRN)
