Position Overview:
Self-storage is among the fastest-growing sectors in the retail industry. StorageMart stands as one of the largest independent providers of self-storage solutions for both business and residential clients across Canada, the United States, and the U.K.
We are currently in search of a dynamic and proactive Retail Operations Supervisor. We are actively conducting interviews for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Generate commission by assisting clients with their storage requirements
- Support reservation and walk-in clients in securing storage units (no cold calling involved)
- Market merchandise, moving, and packing supplies
- Ensure the property is ready for customers, maintaining a safe and inviting appearance
- Oversee, verify, balance cash drawer, and prepare deposits
Qualifications:
- Experience in retail sales, hospitality, customer service, or casual dining environments
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to work outdoors, clean units, and maintain the grounds
- Valid driver's license and vehicle/insurance required (mileage compensated)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Basic computer skills and physical capability to perform the job (lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating large sites, etc.)
