We are seeking a highly skilled Solid Waste Engineer to join our team at Ardurra Group, LLC. As a key member of our solid waste practice, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and permitting solid waste facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and permitting of solid waste facilities, including evaluating alternatives, engineering studies, and preliminary/detailed design.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project completion.
  • Assist Project Managers on active projects and prepare/review technical engineering specifications and cost estimates.
  • Conduct constructability and quality control reviews of design plans and specifications completed by others.
  • Provide construction management services and site visits for designed projects.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to anticipate and initiate subsequent project tasks, working independently or with minimal instruction.
  • Able to work efficiently within a predetermined project budget and schedule.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function efficiently within a project team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic level of familiarity with AutoCAD software (2017 or later) preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in the design, permitting, and document preparation for solid waste facilities.
  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Florida PE license, or ability to obtain a Florida PE license, preferred.
