About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver to join our team at Belmont Village Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on personal assistance to our senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Assistance: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, such as toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care.
  • Encourage Socialization: Inspire participation in community activities and ensure resident safety and well-being.
  • Document Care: Document care and services provided daily, following customized service plans and communicating any observed changes in care needs to supervisors.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Safety Standards: Ensure care, safety, and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.
  • Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider.
  • Ability to work the defined schedule for this position, which may include weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills and Characteristics
  • At least one year of direct care experience in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing community.
  • Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a shared goal.
  • Self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Observant, dependable, adaptable, and respectful.
