Resilience and Recovery Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated Resilience and Recovery Advocate to join our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and support services to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.
This dynamic role requires a unique blend of crisis intervention skills, community engagement, and trauma-informed care practices. You will work collaboratively with law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless service coordination and effective support.
Responsibilities- Conduct community-based assessments and provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies
- Develop and implement personalized service plans, addressing individual needs and preferences
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective service coordination
- Provide education and training on trauma-informed care practices to colleagues and community partners
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Counseling with two years of human services experience required; Master's Degree and two years of community mental health experience preferred
- Current driver's license and vehicle for work-related purposes
- Ability to speak a second language relevant to the population served (preferred)
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance, and short-term disability coverage.
