Nursing Care Specialist

About the Role: As a Registered Nurse (RN) at The Laurels of Kettering, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care services to our guests. This includes supervising the care provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members, as well as assessing the health of our guests and notifying physicians of status changes. You will also develop plans of care based on assessments and implement nursing interventions to stabilize guest conditions or prevent complications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members.
- Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
- Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of status changes; promptly implement new orders.
- Develop a plan of care based on assessment, and implementing nursing care.
- Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state, and CPR certification.
