About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Accounting Specialist to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validation of metered data, resolving metering issues, and collaborating with customers to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support the daily checkout process to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Detect data errors using internal tools and prepare reports and visualizations as required.
  • Validate and finalize meter data after month-end to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate system issues that could affect data quality or deadlines to ensure timely resolution.
  • Use MV-90 xi and other software daily to retrieve and analyze meter data, perform data validation, and fill gaps with estimates as needed.
  • Work with technicians to resolve field issues and set up/adjust accounts to ensure data quality and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure data quality and meet daily/monthly deadlines, providing reconciliation data as required.
  • Assist in setting up new meters and perform statistical analysis using SAS and other tools to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee daily data submissions to RTOs and support settlement staff to ensure accurate market settlements.
  • Validate internal, third-party, and RTO data to ensure accurate market settlements and maintain expert understanding of RTO markets and rules.
  • Prepare monthly reports to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business with 6 years of experience in Transmission or RTO Settlements, or statistical/data analysis.
  • OR Associate's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience in Transmission or RTO Settlements, or statistical/data analysis.
  • Experience with MV90 Xi, Business Objects, RTO markets, and SAS preferred.
