Job Summary

At Builders FirstSource, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Non CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Non CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customer sites in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and secure product, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicle
  • Deliver customer orders to specified delivery site and unload materials safely and accurately
  • Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties, including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage, and locations of deliveries
  • Check items against invoice to ensure order accuracy
  • Act as a customer service liaison between BFS and the site customer
  • Handle customer concerns and help to resolve issues as they arise
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles; perform routine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 21+ years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials and delivery equipment
  • Ability to read and speak the English language

Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust.
