As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing the execution of construction projects from start to finish. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.
- Set up project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, labor laws, and environmental standards.
- Direct field personnel, including contractors, suppliers, and vendors, to achieve project goals.
- Maintain construction schedules, identify and resolve problems, and keep progress schedules current.
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify hazards immediately.
- Ensure all employees and contractors adhere to company safety policies and attend safety meetings.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely submittal logs, receive approved submittals, and notify project managers of potential schedule impacts.
- Assist project managers with change requests, project close-out documents, and contract document distribution.
- Schedule construction meetings with required personnel, subcontractors, architects, and owners.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in General Contracting.
- Experience with projects larger than 50,000 square feet.
- Experience with industrial projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Project.
