Axiom Space has been selected to engineer the next-generation astronaut suits for lunar missions, enhancing astronauts' capabilities for exploration and providing essential systems for living and working in microgravity environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to the design and specification of radio frequency (RF) communication systems tailored for commercial human spaceflight modules.
  • Engage with NASA and commercial partners to establish communication requirements, reflecting our core value of collaboration.
  • Perform calculations for RF link budgets and system performance, showcasing our commitment to cost efficiency.
  • Assist in acquiring necessary licenses from regulatory bodies, adhering to our principles of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Support critical NASA milestone evaluations, demonstrating our organizational capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To excel in this role, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or a related STEM field is essential.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in RF systems design, preferably in support of space missions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with spectrum management and RF spectrum regulations is highly desirable.

  • Strong organizational abilities and a results-oriented mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate self-motivation.
