Azusa Pacific University is seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Replenish restroom supplies and empty waste receptacles
• Clean whiteboards, windows, and walls
• Maintain custodial supply areas and equipment
• Perform minor repair work on building equipment and facilities
• Ensure daily electronic timekeeping and regular attendance

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience and education
• Six months of janitorial or building maintenance work required
• Valid California Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
• Proficient in Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

Working Conditions

• Subject to hazards of machinery, equipment, and exposure to chemicals
• Conditions that could affect skin or respiratory systems - fumes, odors, dust, or poor ventilation
• At times performing tasks in high heat or cold conditions

Compensation

• Grade 5: $16.11 to $18.53 hourly compensation
• Competitive benefits package
