Chief of Staff, Data and Machine Learning Innovation

At Apple, we're committed to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. As a key member of our AI and Machine Learning organization, you'll play a critical role in driving the development of groundbreaking technology for large-scale ML systems, computer vision, natural language processing, and multi-modal understanding.

This position will be part of the Data and Machine Learning Innovation (DMLI) team, which is responsible for creating and implementing efficient processes and standards across the organization. As a Chief of Staff, you'll work closely with the DMLI leadership to drive strategic planning, operational efficiency, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive annual, quarterly, and ongoing strategic planning exercises to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and execute operational rhythms to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and execution.
  • Provide analytical support to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or MBA in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a tech company, with a focus on program management or operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate complex meetings with executives and partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex data insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ML research teams or in a similar role.
