About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Data Operations Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Machine Learning and AI organization, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality datasets for next-generation ML algorithms, creating exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines with an ML-first perspective
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to lead innovative data collection projects with a focus on privacy
  • Oversee the creation of intricate user studies that support both research aims and product objectives
  • Innovate and implement new operational strategies and practices
  • Evaluate and enhance existing metrics and protocols to boost data quality and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Over 5 years of experience in taking products from concept to large-scale production
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset in addressing challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D./MBA)
  • Deep passion for the intersection of HW+ML and pioneering innovative technologies
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Swift programming languages
