This position is a Contract role through LanceSoft in Tucson, Arizona.

The individual in this role is instrumental in producing dependable products and supplies through effective operations within an empowered environment.

This contractor position involves operating automated machinery and systems to execute a variety of tasks related to assembly, printing, filling, and kit pack manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities:
Production (80%)

  • Implements the assembly, filling, labeling, and packaging processes of varying complexity in accordance with production records and operational procedures to achieve finished products.
  • Capable of executing basic transactions within complex systems in a regulated manufacturing setting (e.g., receiving, processing, building products/materials, facilitating material availability, SAP transactions).
  • Contributes to daily end-of-shift reports and communications.
Safety and Quality (10%)

  • Upholds the Right to Operate and ensures all processes are conducted safely; identifies and escalates potential hazards; provides feedback during safety investigations.
  • Engages in quality system tasks to meet quality objectives.
  • Understands audit readiness expectations (OSHA, FDA, QSR, GMP, ISO, etc.); may be required to respond to process-related inquiries.
  • Maintains accurate system transactions to ensure material traceability and inventory accuracy.
Continuous Improvement (5%)

  • Responsible for 6S activities, meeting cycle times, and adhering to standard work; identifies and implements process enhancements using lean methodologies.
  • Participates in shop floor meetings.
Teamwork and Collaboration (5%)

  • Actively collaborates with colleagues across shifts/functions to ensure daily targets are met.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED, required
  • Associates Degree (preferred)
  • 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in a GMP environment
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated setting, preferred.
  • Familiarity with validated software systems for Quality, Inventory, and Processes, preferred.
  • Knowledge of sensors, motors, cylinders, etc., and experience with hand tools and testing equipment, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement
  • Proficiency with Google products (Gmail, gSheets, gDoc, etc.), preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and daily production goals
  • Proficient in using industry-related technology.
  • Ability to utilize precision tools
  • Dependable attendance is essential for this role.
