We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Health Services Department. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with housekeeping duties in selected areas of the health facility, adhering to CPNHS infection control processes and procedures.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean tables and chairs, empty trash cans, and restock products in the bathrooms and break areas.
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient and timely services.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain exterior grounds, walkways, and parking areas.
- Direct activities to prevent the spread of infections in facilities.
- Demonstrate competency and experience in maintenance and housekeeping, with a preference for specialized experience in health facilities.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions and instructions.
- Must be self-motivated.
- State of Oklahoma Driver's License in good standing is required.
This position requires working in a general clinical environment with frequent exposure to chemicals, blood-borne pathogens, and patient body fluids. The ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as repetitive lifting of heavy objects, is also required.
