Lactation Consultant

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a skilled Lactation Consultant to join our team. As a Lactation Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing lactation management services to new parents, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze data to inform lactation management decisions
- Design and implement effective lactation workflows and procedures
- Develop creative solutions to address lactation-related challenges
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to new parents
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless lactation care
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Previous experience in maternal-child health nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification
- Completion of Breastfeeding Continuing Education Program (BCEP) required during employment
