Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Project a positive image of Ace Hardware and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
    • Greet customers entering and shopping throughout the store, and thank them upon departure.
    • Work effectively with customers and associates to resolve any issues or concerns.
    • Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
    • Answer and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Register Operations
    • Accurately complete cash register transactions and balance the register drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Front End Appearance and Upkeep
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front end, checkout areas, and entrance doors.
    • Assist with restocking and facing merchandise, and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
    • Perform other duties as assigned, including store cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Requirements

Cashier and customer service experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and is willing to learn and grow with our company.
