POSITION SUMMARY:

The role is dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services in a professional manner, ensuring Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Quality/No Harm:

• Uphold patient safety consistently.

• Ensure adherence to safety precautions and document any changes in patient status.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients and document findings according to established guidelines.

• Complete progress notes and reassessments as required, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

• Administer effective treatments that align with patient goals and maintain documentation accordingly.

• Participate in departmental meetings during scheduled hours and review meeting minutes when unable to attend.

Customer Experience:

• Address therapy referrals and inquiries promptly upon receipt.

• Collaborate with the team to review daily assignments and schedules.

• Educate patients, families, and staff about therapy services tailored to patient needs.

Stewardship:

• Exhibit financial responsibility by meeting scheduling requirements and productivity targets while utilizing resources effectively.

• Prepare and review the schedule for the following day.

• Process charges corresponding to services rendered and documented treatment times.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Completion of an accredited degree in a relevant discipline.

• Possession of a current or temporary Florida license.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Basic computer proficiency or a willingness to learn.

• Must possess a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to commencement and maintain it.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and body mechanics.

• Ability to assist in lifting, standing, and supporting patients.

• Capability to bend and stoop as required for patient care.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective decision-making skills.

• Ability to interact with diverse individuals.

• Capacity to concentrate under multiple demands and time constraints.

• Ability to maintain focus in stressful and distracting environments.
