To manage such an exceptional store, we require exceptional talent, and we are in search of a Senior Solutions Architect to help us achieve remarkable outcomes.

The ASO Platform Product management team is accountable for the infrastructure and tools that shape our e-commerce experience.

The Senior Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in the leadership team, guiding the development and roadmaps of systems that will empower us to deliver innovative experiences.

Key Responsibilities: In this capacity, you will be tasked with defining and steering the technical architecture and roadmap for the Apple Online Store.

Collaborating with essential cross-functional partners, including Product, Program, Product Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Content Management, Engineering, Operations, and others, you will help us modernize our architecture.

Your role will involve challenging outdated assumptions and providing the flexibility and dynamism that our business teams require to advance into the future — all while ensuring our existing multi-billion dollar operations run seamlessly.

Your expertise in constructing complex, scalable systems will guide our architectural decisions and encourage exploration of new technologies.

Beyond strategy and roadmaps, you will engage in the details and drive projects to implement enhancements to our tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience in Technical Project Management, Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, and/or Engineering Management.
  • Experience with third-party marketplace or partnership integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in Technical Project Management, Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, and/or Engineering Management.
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptable with exceptional organizational skills, capable of thriving in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams in a multi-lingual/cultural context.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, comfort in ambiguous situations, and ability to leverage data and metrics to support conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a focus on storytelling and the ability to craft narratives that influence team members.
  • Skilled in resource management and conflict resolution, consistently prioritizing what matters and navigating through uncertainty.
  • Deep understanding and experience in designing and building complex, large-scale, multi-tenant systems; expertise in scalability design.
  • Experience working with business partners on large operational projects from conception to execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and prioritize effectively.
  • Contributes to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and showing curiosity to learn.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base salary is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role.

The base salary range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, with your salary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
