**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct and non-direct patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Clinical Team Leader.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform various patient care duties as assigned, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities.
**Requirements:**
- 1 year of experience as a nursing assistant or related clinical healthcare experience preferred.
- Current nursing student with one semester of clinical training.
- High School Degree or equivalency.
- Nurse Aide Certification preferred.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Heartsaver CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to work well with others, conscientious, organized, and reliable.
**Work Schedule:**
72 hours per pay period / 7P-7A shift.
