- Manage Clinical and Non-Clinical Duties
- Efficiently manage clinical and non-clinical duties, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Adapt quickly to new models of patient care to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Enhance operational effectiveness, focusing on cost containment without compromising quality of care.
- Develop and Maintain Professional Skills
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain self-awareness and professionalism, recognizing the impact of individual actions on the care team, practice, and healthcare industry.
- Education and Certification
- Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice role.
- Or, in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related master's degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role.
- Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in either a family medicine or primary care practice.
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions.
- Self-motivated, prioritizes and solves problems, takes initiative, and advocates for patients and practice.
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Initiative, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
