Acute Care Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our esteemed healthcare team at SCP Health. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality emergency care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Annual Patient Volume: Manage a significant volume of approximately 60,000 patients per year.
- Facility Capacity: Work within a facility that boasts 186 hospital beds, including 23 emergency department beds and 6 fast track beds.
- Trauma Care: Utilize 2 large trauma rooms equipped for critical interventions.
- Technology Utilization: Employ EMPIC EMR for efficient patient management.
- Physician Coverage: Provide 50-60 hours of daily physician coverage, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Advanced Practice Provider Coverage: Oversee 50 hours of daily NP/PA coverage to support patient needs.
- Scribe Support: Benefit from 24 hours of daily scribe coverage to enhance documentation efficiency.
Our coverage model includes:
- Physician Shifts: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 1p-11p, 4p-2a, and 8p-6a.
- NP/PA Shifts: 7a-5p, 11a-9p, 2p-12a, 3p-1a, and 9p-7p.
