Operational Improvement Expert

Join our team as an Operational Improvement Expert at AXIS Management Group In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our continuing education program for federal law enforcement personnel. Estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement MS Power Apps and MS Power BI tools to enhance business process re-engineering efforts.
  • Identify and analyze existing data sets to optimize their use in the business process reengineering program.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and users to develop and document 'as-is' processes.
  • Support the FLETC data working group and other working groups as necessary.
  • Develop business process maps and translate functional requirements into actionable insights.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, define the future state, and create specifications for enhancements.
  • Provide expert analytical support to process development and improvement efforts.
  • Work with program offices to define new areas of improvement, prioritize such improvements, and develop business case justification.
  • Apply process improvement practices to modernize business processes and re-engineer methodologies and principles.
  • Apply activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control, and risk analysis to drive business process modernization.
  • Create/modify existing process models, data dictionaries, standard operating procedure documents, and other supporting documentation.
  • Ensure quality assurance on finished work products to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate the status of changes to team members and business leadership.
  • Provide regular status updates as required.

Requirements:

  • Leverage Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification and qualification Project Management Professional Certification Certified Business Process Professional Certification Agile Project Management Certification.
  • MS Power Platform certification.
  • 2-4 years experience developing flow charts/process flow diagrams or data flow diagrams/business process modeling.
  • 2 years experience with MS Power Apps and MS Power BI.
  • Adept with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation Public Trust.
  • U.S. citizen.
