We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at RML Health Providers. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and vital sign collection.
- Assist professional nurses and respiratory therapists with complex patient care, as needed.
- Observe and report patient signs and symptoms, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Assist with admissions and discharges, and orient patients and families to the unit and environment.
- Perform related services and duties, such as cleaning equipment and obtaining patient room supplies.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of PCT competencies to validate all required skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
