X-Ray Technician

```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated LICENSED X-ray Technician to join our team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

\*\*Position is primarily utilizing the C-Arm and assisting with procedures\*\*

```Duties```
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
- Operate X-ray equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
- Develop and process X-ray films or use digital imaging technology
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss patient cases and imaging results
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns

```Qualifications```
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology
- Experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support certification is a plus
- Familiarity with medication administration is a plus

Pay: From $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
