Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough tests to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning correctly.
  • Identify and isolate any systems or components that may be causing issues.
  • Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance and check fluid levels, refilling as necessary.
  • Verify tire pressure for optimal inflation and clean and lubricate fittings as required.
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues.
  • Maintain high efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Proactively repair or replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
  • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools for various tasks.
Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems and quick diagnostic skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities, with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • ASE Certification or a Technical degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a service department.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
