Responsibilities

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing a patient's journey by:

  1. Welcoming patients and visitors to the clinic in a timely, courteous, and professional manner; checking in patients and notifying clinical staff of their arrival.
  2. Providing and clarifying necessary paperwork for patients to complete prior to their examination; ensuring forms are complete and properly filed; updating demographic and insurance information in the system; collecting co-pays and outstanding balances.
  3. Answering, screening, and addressing routine inquiries.
  4. Completing the patient check-in and check-out process post-examination; scheduling follow-up appointments in accordance with physician and office protocols.
  5. Documenting patient cancellations and missed appointments; rescheduling as necessary; informing relevant staff of cancellations and updating patient records accordingly.
  6. Offering general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

This position welcomes candidates of all experience levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
