OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Trinity Health is pleased to announce a full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a thriving practice. This position is based in a well-established medical facility.

The Gastroenterology Department is expanding and is looking for two additional physicians to complement the existing team. The current practice consists of one physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP). Surgical procedures are primarily conducted at a regional referral teaching hospital or an on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), with potential investment opportunities available in the ASC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing health histories, performing physical examinations, and analyzing laboratory and imaging results to establish diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient evaluations, providing education and support to patients throughout their care.
  • Perform various surgical procedures as required.
  • Monitor hospitalized patients during preoperative and postoperative phases, ensuring optimal recovery and discharge planning.
  • Identify and address any abnormal patient responses to treatments, surgeries, or medications, taking appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and care provided, ensuring compliance with billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Participate in assigned call coverage to support patient care needs.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field through continuous education, including reading relevant literature and attending professional conferences.

This position is open to H-1B visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
