Job Title: AVP Senior Legal Counsel - Cybersecurity

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Attorney to provide expert legal advice on a wide range of cybersecurity issues, including regulatory compliance, incident response, data protection, vulnerability management, and supply chain security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and security controls for employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work with external affairs partners and government agencies to guide U.S. cyber policy at the federal and state level.
  • Provide informed and proactive legal advice on cybersecurity law, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity law, regulations, and deep knowledge of industry trends.
  • Strong knowledge of how law enforcement and the U.S. Intelligence Community interact with the private sector.
  • Juris Doctorate Degree is required.
  • Significant prior government experience in the field.
  • CISSP, CIPP, CISM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret/SI Security Clearance.
