Job Title: Inspector (Nights)

We are seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team at Williams International. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for performing first piece, tool proof, receiving and final inspection of jet engine components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections for first article and production readiness
  • Manufacture and/or test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
  • Maintain accurate and reliable documentation
  • Perform inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
  • Visually inspect parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
  • Light programming and/or create program edits for CMM equipment
  • Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
  • Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience
  • Experience with CMM systems and familiarity with open DMIS language preferred
  • Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading required
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include the ability to lift 50 pounds, push or pull a weight of 60 pounds, and have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds. You must also be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).

Security Clearance:

This position requires U.S. Citizenship status and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
