Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Adhere to attendance standards as required by HCW Management Consultants LLC, with scheduling based on hotel needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.
  • Follow HCW Management Consultants LLC standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Meet certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Safety.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side duties to ensure prompt and efficient guest service.
  • Understand the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu for the assigned event.
  • Serve guests in accordance with the hotel's standards, demonstrating friendliness and professionalism.
  • Address guest issues, complaints, and incidents; escalate to management when necessary.
  • Stay informed about current hotel policies.
  • Be knowledgeable about fire exits, fire extinguisher locations, and safety protocols.
  • Keep the banquet storage area organized and stocked with necessary supplies for food service.
  • Clear banquet areas post-event and ensure proper storage and restocking of equipment and supplies.
  • Exhibit attentiveness, friendliness, and helpfulness towards guests, managers, and fellow employees.
  • Understand the hotel's organizational structure and the function of each department.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Participate in meetings as required by management.
