We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Operations Manager to join our team at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our 54-unit permanent supportive housing residence, Casa Mutua.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the building, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Manage external relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Coordinate with city agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with social services staff to address tenant-related concerns and issues.
- Implement rental collection operations and maintain accurate property management files.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant city, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Participate in inspections and audits as required.
- Supervise 24/7 operations, including on-site security vendors.
- Minimum of three years of experience in property management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
