Position: Class A Truck Operator
Triumph Leasing Corp. is currently looking for a skilled Class A Truck Operator to manage the delivery of ground-level containers and office trailers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport 20' and 40' ground-level containers; deliver office and modular trailers ranging from 8' to 12' in width; ensure proper blocking, leveling, and setup of stairs within designated timeframes.
- Guarantee the delivery of correct merchandise as per customer specifications.
- Utilize company policies to document equipment conditions through photographs when necessary.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all equipment for any damages.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery activities in a driver's log and submit all required paperwork to dispatch at the end of each shift.
- Comprehend and adhere to company policies as well as FHWA/DOT regulations.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports diligently.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the truck both inside and out at least once a week.
- Return office trailers to the yard without leaving any blocking or stairs; unload these items in front of the appropriate containers.
- Contact each customer on the day of delivery or pickup to verify site details and directions.
- Operate company vehicles safely and courteously.
- Work in construction environments with moderate to high noise levels; engage in consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Maintaining a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Capability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of driving experience is recommended.
Certifications: Class A driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks both in and out of the truck, conduct roadside repairs as necessary, and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
