Job Summary:

The Boom Truck Driver is responsible for transporting materials to specified destinations, working with others to ensure timely delivery. Key duties include:

  • Completing daily checklists and fuel logs
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Maintaining radio contact with dispatchers
  • Keeping accurate truck logs
  • Securing cargo for transport
  • Cleaning and inspecting vehicles
  • Operating equipment to load and unload cargo
  • Assisting with loading and unloading
  • Obtaining customer signatures
  • Logging goods picked up for return

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess a valid MA CDL, a DOT medical card, and a Class 1-c or better Hydraulics license. They must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Work Environment:

The Boom Truck Driver will work in a warehouse and transportation setting, with frequent travel to job sites. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be comfortable with heights.
