Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at New Season Treatment Center. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to nursing staff, ensuring continuity among nursing teams, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, to ensure continuity among nursing teams.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensure that all nursing staff is effectively cross-trained for ordering and receiving medication.
  • Monitor and track pharmacy reports for trends.
  • Provide training and continuing education to nurses.
  • Conduct and/or oversee the administration of tests ordered by the physician, including lab tests, vital signs, and TB tests.
  • Schedule and screen patients to be seen by the Medical Director.
  • Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings.
  • Responsible for the collection and/or oversight of fees for medication and ancillary services.

Requirements:

  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which work is being performed.
  • 3+ years of progressive professional-level experience in the Nursing field.
  • Knowledge and skill in the application of professional nursing theory.
  • Ability to organize assigned work, make verbal/written reports and documentation, and prepare and maintain reports of shift activities and individual progress.
